Ame Tovo is a Graduate Teaching Assistant and master's candidate for the Department of Communication studies at San Francisco University. As one deeply committed to communication studies, Tovo aims to bring a unique perspective to the teaching assistant role. Tovo's passionate research centers on the development of Pacific Islanders and Oceania's diaspora, emphasizing identity embrace and higher education pursuit. By integrating communication studies, Tovo's interests revolve around facilitating a diverse and inclusive learning environment for all, fostering effective dialogue and understanding among students. Some of Tovo's interests include playing video games and listening to some island reggae to pass the time. She also loves food a whole lot and is always willing to try something new, in hopes of embracing, learning and acknowledging different cultures.
