Constance Gordon

Constance Gordon is an Assistant Professor in Communication Studies at San Francisco State University. Her interdisciplinary research interests traverse the subfields of environmental communication, organizational communication, rhetoric, and cultural studies where she explores the ways in which power and resistance are organized in spaces undergoing economic and ecological transformation. Drawing on critical ethnographic practices and rhetorical field methods, she analyzes how marginalized voices are included (or not) in efforts to remake place for the environmentally privileged.
